GMP ACE and trauma awareness project. Working with GMP trainers, development and delivery of police specific training for frontline officers. Delivered over a series of online workshops involving 2500 officers, this training covered: the science of ACEs; stress response system with a tool to help officers in their work to support children.

Neglect & Early Help response training for GPs. This training. Incorporating ACEs, this training provided GPs with a greater knowledge of neglect, how to explore issues of neglect during appointments, and, how they may respond in practice in providing an Early Help response using a strength based approach.

ACEs/Trauma workshops for the Northwest Probation services. As part of the Service development days, these workshops provide an awareness of the link between childhood adversity/trauma and how this may be presenting for those they work with. Covering recent UK research.

Adverse Childhood Experiences, Identifying & Responding to Neglect Level 3 Training for General Practitioners Trainees. This Workshop for trainee GPs provides a foundational knowledge of ACEs and neglect with a whole family view and practical skills for appointments to explore and address when neglect may be presenting.

Trauma Informed Practice for Salford Children’s Services Practice week. Practitioners from across Children’s Services participated in a series of workshops. Raising awareness and building a foundational knowledge base of ACEs and trauma. With a bespoke website developed for practitioners with resources and exercises.

Impact Chronology training for Social Workers practitioners across Children’s Services. This training focused on practical skills in the construction and use of chronologies, exploring impact upon children of parental and adult behaviours. How chronologies link to recording practices, risk management, analysis and trauma informed practice.

Trauma Resposive Greater Manchester. Providing a tiered training pathway for practitioners representing Social Service, Police, Health, Housing, Mental Health, Education and Voluntary services from across Greater Manchester. With Level 1 awareness raising and Level 2 practice skills. Follow up coaching sessions to support application of learning and promote further knowledge growth.

Culture change workshops to support stress response management and staff wellbeing and supporting this organisation in their journey to becoming trauma informed.

Working with the WeMove program leading the establishment of a peer support program among volunteers working and supporting young people across Greater Manchester.

Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester. Providing sector specific truama awareness and implimentation training for social justice, social care, education, health.
